By the time this post goes live, I will have 30 minutes to get to class. That is 30 minutes to pack all my things. That is 30 minutes to run to the computer lab to print out papers I forgot to read. That is 30 minutes to venture outside and walk the couple hundred yards to the next building for class.
That is 30 minutes to prepare to sit for the next 5 hours and 40 minutes and realize how much time I am wasting sitting her discussing two Zines I will never care about, discussing a Youtube project that will only enable my terminal illness of procrastination, and reading creative writing papers by people who will popettually wait tables their entire lives working on “America’s Next Great Novel.”
This is how I spend my Tuesdays, dreading the drudgery of EMU. Hopefully, soon, coming home to her will make it worth the while.
25 and counting…
